Its been a couple of years now and the site is looking tired as is the forum too,
The forum database is messed up and if you have tried to change your password you'll know what i mean, I have no idea how to fix this problem without scrapping the whole forum and starting over......
.... Here comes the change... I'm going to try and install a NEW forum completely, now this MAY kill the site as it stands now so even this announcement may not be here soon :$
If it DOES work the forum will be much more stable and look VERY different...

There have been a few enquiries regarding joining {UMC}....
.. Unfortunately ALL recruitment is off and we are accepting NO NEW members until we have a server up and running again so we can trial correctly.
Hopefully we should have a server for the summer if all goes well, so if you are still interested in joining check back then.
Hope this clears things up.

An official three-pack of maps for Unreal Tournament 3 on the PC, was just released. The pack features two returning UT favorites, Morbias and Facing Worlds. The last map is a brand new map for UT3, Searchlight, a capture the flag map.

After examining the code that displays current maps/players on the right hand side of the site i have managed to alter it so you can click the IP and it will connect you to that server (providing you have steam running)
Try it out ;)

Well almost a new year and my intention was to complete the new design for a grand reveal new years day......
Sadly i kinda took too much on with the map and everything and haven't even started the new design but it will come i promise.
Map is on schedule and at the moment i'm VERY happy with it, i'm hoping to have a beta test ready for the end of January (maybe sooner you never know)

Although hardly anyone uses it i have upgraded the site messenger (the link in the top right of the user table, or the top left for that matter)
I would reccomend it as it it spamproof and ran totally from this site (it seems to bypass most workplaces ANTI MESSENGER filters too ;) )
You can see who's online by looking at the WHO'S ONLINE section of the user table (on the right hand side of the homepage) if theres a green icon next to name then that user is in the chatroom (red means they are not)
I encourage all members to log into the chatroom when they visit as it opens in a seperate window and doesnt need the main site to be open and you can surf as normal but be available to other UMC community members without messing with msn etc.

Seems theres a new mod that tracks CS:S stats and all it requires you to do is sign up to their site to create a profile, then any of the servers running the mod will track yor stats realtime
Also it earns you a credit for another game they have developed similar to warcraft

I know a few of you guys watch this,
You may be interested to know the new season starts SOON, Jan 31st to be precise and will run for the full 16 episodes that make up this season with NO BREAKS like last year.
After last seasons cliffhanger i cant wait.

After a lot of messing about i have managed to add some major security to the site, i know it's working as i have recieved over 100 mails from the security program of the ip adresses of potential hackers trying to access the admin area alone.
Members MAY have to type in their password more than usual but this is worth it for the peice of mind the security program gives :)
I have added a nasty twist also to those who persist.... lets just say it MAY deter them trying again.. :)
